Upcoming sf action "Skyline" has just got itself a brand new poster and it's utterly amazing showing some abnormally freakish spaceships above LA skyscrapers. The warning is - DON'T LOOK UP. Starring Eric Balfour, Scottie Thompson, Donald Faison, David Zayas and Crystal Reed, "Skyline" starts when strange lights descend on the city of Los Angeles, drawing people outside like moths to a flame. An extraterrestrial force then threatens to swallow the entire human population off the face of the earth and the band of survivors must fight for their lives as the world unravels around them. The movie premieres this November. You can also check out the spooky and apocalyptic first teaser for "Skyline" bellow, which contains some truly breathtaking scenes of the alien invasion.
This one looks really cool...
ReplyDeleteI dislike their slogan "Don't Look up." Given its position on the poster, it means all I'd see is the name of the movie and not the awesome picture above. Makes me feel bad for the artist really....
ReplyDeleteOh man, the more I hear about this film, the more I want to see it. It is going to be awesome.
ReplyDeleteNice poster
ReplyDeleteDEZMOND - The poster is awesome. And, of course the slogan is funny - "Don't look up." So, of course, we'll look up. The trailer looked really cool, especially at the end, but I couldn't hear any sound.
ReplyDeleteAfter Independence Day and War of the Worlds, they'll need a truly originial idea for a large scale alien invasion to work.
ReplyDelete@Alan
ReplyDeleteit really does
@Bryan
keeping our fingers crossed
@Avalon

ReplyDeletethe poster really is super great :))
ReplyDeleteOh my! They can do some tidy stuff with graphics these days. Looks Fantastic!
ReplyDeletewish we had such graphics :)
ReplyDeleteDEZMOND - it worked this time. Yay!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is an amazing movie poster! I can't wait for that one. Love alien movies.
ReplyDeleteGreat poster, great preview. I want to see it.
ReplyDelete@Shells
ReplyDeletecongrats :))
@Hannah
glad you like it
@Cheeseboy
you should see it :)
I like the poster and this sounds like my kind of movie. Don't know why these aliens like to pick on L.A. so much of the time, but it's fun to see since I live here. Just hope they don't come to my side of town if they really do come.

Tossing It Out
glad you like it, Lee.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'd prefer If they'd ruin and destroy Washington (it's always lovely watching White House being blown to pieces in movies :))) but I guess LA is not the main target. I'm guessing it's because of Schwarzy :)
Holy Jesus that is an awesome poster. :O
ReplyDeletetotally awesome :)
ReplyDeleteNice! I haven't heard anything about this one at all. I agree with the comments about going up against other large scale invasion flicks, but still, it looks like it should be some sci-fi, special effects filled fun. And the poster is killer.
ReplyDeletehey, Okie, haven't seen you in a while, how ya doin'? :)
