WILL MILEY CYRUS PLAY YOUNG CARRIE BRADSHAW IN THE POSSIBLE PREQUEL OF "SEX AND THE CITY"?

While she is conquering the world with her sensational new video "Can't Be Tamed", looking better than ever, Miley Cyrus has revealed that she wouldn't mind playing young Carrie Bradshaw in a possible prequel to "Sex and the City" movie. Although the third "Sex and the City" film wasn't yet announced it seems that a possible direction could be to go to Carrie's youth following the latest book from the "Sex and the City" creator Candace Bushnell called "The Carrie Diaries" which follows Carrie's youth before she came to NY. Candace Bushnell actually said a few years ago that Miley Cyrus would be great as the famous columnist in her teen years. Miley herself has admitted recently in an interview that she would love to do a younger, cleaner version of "Sex and the City".
As you know, Miley has recently finished "Hannah Montana", the show which made her famous, and she also starred this year in "The Last Song" with her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, the brother of the future THOR, Chris himself, who is also having nice times in his career after scoring the lead role in the upcoming epic "Arabian Nights".

  2. We are all obviously sick and tired of this over-ambitious teen girl! She should better stick with singing!

  3. Well, she looks absolutely nothing like her and I don't think she could mimic SJP's mannerisms...so no

    it's better watching urban girls than bizarre horrors :PP

    @Neb
    I'm not, I actually like Miley, she's super cute and has such an innocent and charming sense of humor, and I also like her new single a lot even though I didn't like any of her previous singles.

    @Nickis
    well, CARRIE'S DIARIES talk about young, small-town girl Carrie, and the story is set in the last year of her high-school before she came to NY, so I'm guessing it's not the same snobish Carrie we knew from the show.

  5. @Nebular - actually I was referring more to The Sex And The City series needing to go away, Miley Cyrus simply makes it worse.

  6. Why? Doesn't SJP look young enough to play young Carrie Bradshaw? Oh yes, right...

  7. Miley playing younger, "cleaner" version? Why am I laughing so hard?

    You like her? Really? I admit she's a sweetheart, however she's also the typical mawkish American pop star. Her biggest charm is probably her cute smile and her hoarsy voice:)

  9. I am not sure about her acting, never really watched her but I have seen clips of a few interviews on the news and she seems funny enough. She must be doing something right because she is hot among the kids. It seems teen actors are often ridiculed with the accusations of limited talent but I wonder if these superficial, overpaid critics have ever really taken the time to view these programs or do they condemn for the wrong reasons? Thank goodness everyone has different taste and most are intelligent and fair enough to develop their own opinion.

    Off the subject for Dezmond because he knows I sway, Miley and her father were staying at the same cabin resort we stayed at in Pigeon Forge a few weeks ago but we did not see her, nor did we seach. They had the entire top of the resort blocked off to keep crazed fans away, but no one must have found out she was there. However Miley did cause quite a stir at the local amusement park.

    wonder if she ever looked young? ^_^

    @Kristin
    you wanted the role yourself? :P

    @Neb
    I don't like her music, but I do think she's awfully cute and charming as a TV actress. She's a natural comedian. HANNAH MONTANA was a very cute show for young teens, free from any violence, bad language ... Children should grow up with Disney not with horrors and vampires.

    @Avalon
    she really is a number one teen star among kids and she's a great role model for them. Some people don't like her new video because they are used to seeing her innocent and sweet, but we must bear in mind that she has basically spent her childhood on TV, she grew up in front of our eyes, so it's difficult coming to terms with the fact that she's now a grown up girl who wants to explore new directions in her life and career. I couldn't agree with you more on those superficial critics who condemn movies, programmes and shows without even taking the time to really watch them (SEX AND THE CITY is the favourite victim of such people).

    @Angie
    your vote will be handed over to the studios :)

  12. Well, I was one of those children that grew up with horror movies, instead with Hannah Montana TV shows-like. Is that make me a bad person? Does it make me a rude and evil, and a bad language lover? NO! Everything depends on what's in your head and your heart; оn my upbringing and manners; on who my friends are; and not on what I'm watching and listening. ;)

  13. there are always exceptions, Neb, nothing is black and white. But that's why you have me to slap your tushie every time you get overly impulsive and naughty :) I grew up watching Disney and all the lovely family sitcoms from the 90's and 80's and you know what kind of character it gave me ^_^
    Speaking about bad language, well you do tend to use it more often than others, Nebster, dearest :)

  14. My problem is, I'm overly-temperamental and it often shows. I don't mind bad language when needed. When someone tries to look too well-mannered, kind and polite, it has always seemed kinda fake and artificial to me. Sometimes bad language releases the stress and the pressure you know. I don't think I'm rude, I'm just brutally honest and I couldn't help but wonder, why honesty has always been compared with rudeness??? You know why? - because most of the people want to hear only things they LIKE to hear :)
    As for Disney - I own almost the entire collection of Disney's classic animated movies, with "Beauty and the Beast" being my absolute favorite! :) I've watched at least 5 times each :) Overall, I grew up watching old-school Kung Fu films, animations and horror movies - weird taste for kid, right? :)

  15. so basically Bruce Lee was your nanny :)))

  16. Hanna Montana as Carrie Bradshaw-I think not! Dakota Fanning is a long shot, but she's such a good actress, I'm sure she could pull it off if she wanted to.
