"Riddick" will again be directed by David Twohy who also wrote the script. In the third film of the popular sf saga, Riddick, the most wanted man in the galaxy, is left for dead on a barren alien planet, dealing with trisons (three-legged bisons) and mud demons. He will also have to deal with two squads of bounty hunters, which ride some very cool rockets called jetcycles. We will keep you updated on the project.
Pitch Black was an awesome movie. Let's hope the second sequel is better than the first.
ReplyDeleteYou didn't like CHRONICLES? That was my favourite :)- nothing can beat a nice space opera with Karl Urban, Judi Dench and Thandie Newton in the cast!

ReplyDeleteSimon, Vin was a director before he started acting, so maybe he could return to that profession? And his movies had quite a nice acceptance among the critics.
I guess I stand alone. I'm not a fan of either Pitch Black or Chronicles of Riddick. The story never enticed me to invest in the character.
ReplyDeleteEh, Dreher, I personally didn't really like PITCH BLACK, but I liked CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK (not because of the story, but because of the actors)
