CHRIS PINE TO JOIN REESE WITHERSPOON IN "THIS MEANS WAR"?

According to latest rumors, Reese Witherspoon could finally get her male partners in the upcoming comedy "This Means War" directed by McG. Some sites report that Chris Pine could be one of the two male leads, with the second role supposedly being offered to Seth Rogen instead of James Franco as the first news stated.
Premiering next year "This Means War" follows two best friends, inseparable since childhood, who fall in love with the same woman played by Reese Witherspoon. The two men's bond disintegrates and their ensuing battle escalates to mammoth proportions, with New York City demolished in their wake.

  1. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm This plot sounds vaguely familiar. As if it's been done a thousand times before.

So, it's going to need chemistry. Seth Rogan + Reese Witherspoon = urgle urgle?

Chris Pine impressed me with Star Wars, but not enough to label him a go to guy. He needs a few more solid performances under his belt.

  2. Uni, you must be the first person who saw Chris Pine in STAR WARS (are you sure you didn't take too much of your pink pills? :PP)

yep, I too don't see any chemistry between Seth Rogen and .... and pretty much any actress in the world :)

  4. I love Reese Witherspoon! She's so cute, so funny.. and camera loves her! As for Chris Pine, yes, he's a lovely guy, but he always seems nervous and somehow aggressive when he actс.
Pine needs some pink pills, Dez, not Uni ;)

  5. I agree with both Neb and Uni that Chris Pine still has to prove himself in order to get our support. His role in the STAR TREK was the only one I didn't like, but it was because of the immature character not him as an actor.

Neb, I mentioned pink pills because Uni said WARS instead of TREK ;)

  6. Used to love Reese but she needs to stop pumping out Rom-coms and start making real movies again!

  7. I guess they get more money for doing romantic movies than for doing dramas.
