FUTURISTIC STORY "DAMN NATION" TO BE ADAPTED INTO A MOVIE
According to "MovieWeb" "Damn Nation", a 'Dark Horse' comic by Andrew Cosby and Jason Alexander will be developed into a movie. Writers of "Thor", Ashley Edward Miller and Zack Stentz, have apparently signed on to write the script for this futuristic vampire project for Paramount.
The whole adaptation is set in U.S. A. evacuated after an attack from inhuman nocturnal predators, and the story follows the tale of the survivors after the government has been forced to relocate to London while scientists search for a solution.
This doesn't sound very original. Let's hope it can become something worth seeing, and not just another one of "let's do vampire movie, they are popular nowadays". :)
ReplyDeleteit could be interesting with that premise about government in exile here in Europe .... :)
ReplyDeleteThere could be some interesting new moments of some different approach to this sub-genre. That is why I hope this will turn out to be more then it suggests.
ReplyDeleteme to, I hope it will be a big budgeted movie, although they might use some of those newly discovered sf/indie directors who, using almost nothing, make movies which after that bring a whole lot of something at the box office:))
