FIRST PIC FROM ROMAN EPIC "THE EAGLE OF THE NINTH"

Here's the first exclusive picture of Channing Tatum in a fight scene from the upcoming Roman epic "The Eagle of the Ninth". The $23 million epic is just days away from wrapping up its shooting in Scotland.
As you already know the story revolves around a wounded Roman soldier (Channing Tatum) and his loyal Celtic slave (Jamie Bell) who try to solve the mystery of the Ninth Legion, a brigade of Roman soldiers that vanished after heading into the untamed Highlands of Scotland 15 years earlier.
Stay tuned for some new pics, we'll probably have more quite soon :)

  3. It looks almost exactly like King Arthur and The Centurion. :) Similar to Gladiator even. Although Gladiator looked mostly brown and rusty. Maybe because of sand in arena and training grounds?
These other movies are much more gray to black, with a hint of dark blue. Maybe because all those forests are dead, and all of trees and plants are decomposing. I don't know...
I don't like this kind of visuals, but I've liked King Arthur in spite of of that. Maybe I'll like Centurion and Eagle also.

  4. Well, of course it looks similar, Bels, it is Rome, not Tajikistan or Mauritania :))

  5. It's Britain in Roman period to be exact. Even if it was filmed elsewhere. :) But I not talking about costumes or buildings. Similarities are in colors and lighting.

  6. Well, as I said, all of those movies talk about greyish Roman period, about bluish British climate, about black and dark hidden passions ... :))) The specter is totally natural if you look at it that way :)

  7. Still, grass and leaves were still green in Roman Britain. Not gray. :))
But if nothing else, those filmmakers are consistent. King Arthur, Centurion and Eagle all paint a same picture (even if colours are a little off). :))
