EXCLUSIVE CONCEPT ART FOR THE UPCOMING SF THRILLER "TRIBES OF OCTOBER"
Here's some cool concept art from the future post-apocalyptic thriller "Tribes of October" by Philippe Martinez. The principal photography has started in August and the stellar cast has already been gathered. Apparently Ray Stevenson, Jaime King, Stephen Moyer, Robert Duvall, and James Caan have all signed up for this new film.
Here's the plot: In a battle of biblical proportions under an eternally crimson sky in post-apocalyptic New York city, detective Michael Hillburn must cross the city on the most dangerous night of the year to avenge the death of a fellow officer and save May Kelly, the girl he loves, from the clutches of the elusive crime boss, Lord Akuma.

izgleda nice. filmovi koji ovako izgledaju su obicno odlicni, jedino jos spirit nisam jos odgledao.
ReplyDeletesamo nisam bas skontao pricu
mislim da kod takvih filmova obicno nikada ni ne skontas sta je autor hteo da kaze :)) jer verovatno nije nista ni znao da kaze :)) pa se kao nesto pravi vazan :)
ReplyDeletePrinciple photography has NOT started on Tribes of October. First it was put off to late October, now it's scheduled for some time in February, 2010.
ReplyDeleteIt hasn't? It was scheduled for August, so I guess they've postponed it. Well, at least we can enjoy the concept art before something bigger happens in the preproduction.
ReplyDeleteI can't see anything on those posters. :)) Too much shadows, and yet, too much yellow light also.
ReplyDeleteAlmost like when amateurs take pictures of dark objects against bright background. :))
Yeah, some quality film making there...
It must be abstract concept art, Bels :PPPP
ReplyDeleteI hope so. :)) I would be hard pressed to follow the story and characters in this movie if I couldn't see them properly.
ReplyDeleteyep, hope it won't be like in SPIRIT, SIN CITY or WATCHERS.
ReplyDeleteOr worse. :)))
ReplyDelete"worse" meaning "darker" if Marko's nightmares come true :)))
ReplyDeleteWorse meaning: I can hear them talking, but it is too dark to see anything. Maybe they should've made a audio drama instead. :))
