THE 2ND SEASON OF "THE LEGEND OF THE SEEKER" STARTS THIS NOVEMBER
It seems that the new, second, season of the charming fantasy TV series "The Legend of the Seeker" which begins November 7th, will bring us much more of those ultra gorgeous Mord-Sith girls.
Not only that beautiful Tabrett Bethell, who played seductive Mord-Sith Cara in the first season is coming back but there will be a new one.
Cara will now become a regular tavelling companion of our trio, joining Richard, the Wizard and the Confessor in their quests. On the other hand, sexy Charisma Carpenter will appear in the first episode as another Mord-Sith, Triana. And if you didn't know, Mord-Sith are bad-ass female warriors who wear extremely tight dominatrix catsuits and take special pleasure in beating their male enemies :)
When it comes to Richard, the Seeker, after killing the evil tyrant he will discover that the absence of a ruler will cause a chaos in the three territories. He will also discover that by killing Darken Rahl he accidentally tore a rift in the veil between the world of living and the underworld releasing all kinds of new dangerous evil threats onto the surface. The Seeker will also find out some new things about the mysterious circumastances of his birth and come to some shocking revelations about his lineage. And yea, the Confessor and Cara will both start a war for his heart :))

So, they picked this up for second season. :) And I still haven't seen the latter half of first season. :( It's on my "to see list", just like second half of Merlin, Heroes, and Terminator.
ReplyDeleteGood thing they added another main cast member. Only three of them was too little as I said before. Now there are four.
So much brown colour here on these screenshots/posters...
oH, Bels, don't you remember that I've announced the renewal of the second season sometime during the summer? :))
ReplyDeleteThe last episode of the first season was good, the other part of it, not so good :)
But don't be afraid, the show really has beautiful colours, and amazing green landscapes, it's really a treat for the eyes (together with a whole team of Mord-Siths :) off course)
I guess I forgot your announcement. :) But you also forgot that I watched this show in HD, and I know about natural colours and lightning. It's just that their uniforms are mostly brown, and so are a lot of interiors.
ReplyDeleteI've seen sneek-peek you posted on your you-tube page. It looks very interesting. Especially the battle with Mord-Sith warrior women. Like they came out of some male fantasy. :)
Well, I guess you can't really be a battle-warrior-nomad and wear colourful clothes :) after all seekers don't have Persil or Ariel :PP
ReplyDeleteBut as far as I can see from the trailer, Kahlan will wear the same white robe again, and I don't like that, they should change her dress from time to time. And I don't like the beard on Richard.
Maybe the white dress is a uniform for confessors? I agree that Richard looks better without the beard, but that's only a minor change to me.
ReplyDeleteyes, it is, but she should wear the green (or as I call it the Robin Hood) outfit more often, she wore it a few times in the first season. :)
ReplyDeleteThen they (costume directors) are just unimaginative. Or they are afraid they "unsettle" her "brand image". :))
ReplyDeletebut I must say that the show generally has good costumes, especially the male costumes. Darken Rahl always looked amazing to me in his beautifully tailored long robe with tight low waste and so called Russian collar :) And most of the soldiers and warriors in the show have stunning uniforms. Not to mention the Mord-Sith uniforms :)
ReplyDeleteThe Confessor's floating white sleeved gown is also nice, but some change would be nice as well :)
Maybe they got so in love with their costumes, that they don't wish to change them (ever). It is a common occurrence with creators and their work.
ReplyDeletepossibly, but if that is the case, then they should just give the job to the good old me :))
