JUSTIN THEROUX JOINS "YOUR HIGHNESS"

Medieval comedy "Your Highness" is really filling up its starlicious cast. The latest addition is charismatic Justin Theroux who will play the villain.
The film follows a lazy prince (Danny McBride) who must save his father's kingdom with the help of his much more heroic brother (James Franco). Natalie Portman appears as a warrior princess who will seduce McBride, while Zooey Deschanel plays Belladonna, Franco's virgin bride who get's kidnaped by Justin's character Leezar - an evil wizard with a magical staff.
The story is quite similar to the famous "Princess Bride" which wasn't very successful back in the 90's when it was made but it became a kind of a cult later on.
This might end up being a cute film after all.

  1. I think this promises to be funny. :) We can always use a Medieval comedy. Or any kind of historic comedy.
History shouldn't all be boring or tragic.

  2. Yes, it sounds quite cute, I just hope it will have intelligent humour and not some stupid one. Witty dialogues instead of some teenage ones.

Mel Brooks and Cary Elwes were amazing in PRINCESS BRIDE.

  3. Yes, and Black Adder was also ingenious in its own way. :)

  4. Which was your favourite period in BLACK ADDER?
I think mine was the Elizabethan one :))) with the crazy queen and her nanny :))

  5. I like all of them, except maybe first one. Stupid and whiny Black Adder is not my favorite, and it clearly stands out from the rest of them (character wise).

  6. Yes, the middle ages Adder was a weird one :) But I guess that intelligence wasn't a virtue back in those dark ages, and that's why they made him cunning (or at least wiser than others in that age) and whiny to make him hilariously different from other court members who were brutal, physical and stupid.
