NORTHUMBRIA MYSTERIES
NEW DETECTIVE SERIES STARTS THIS WEEK

IN THE NEW SERIES
Robson Green stars as Joe Ruby: an ex con whose life has been shaped by mistakes, regrets and missed opportunities, alongside Oxford-educated DI Rose O’Connell (Liz White), a rarefied intellectual, a deep thinker with a brilliant mind and an ice-cool
disposition. In a classic odd-couple pairing, Joe and Rose combine their talents as they frustrate, confound and ultimately surprise one another while
unravelling a series of compelling crime mysteries. Simon Callow stars as Father David, the local priory leader, with Gurjeet Singh as DS Raj Singh.

This one could easily interest me. Robson Green and the Northumberland setting are already enough to get my attention. Now it only has to reach Spain, preferably before your recommendations leave me no free evenings at all. At this rate, the real mystery will be finding enough hours to watch everything you show us.
ReplyDeleteA long, mysterious hug.
Having in mind, how TV is becoming worse, not better, you will need supplies of old goodies in the future. Returning the hug.
DeleteA former convict teaming up with an Oxford-educated inspector is the kind of odd couple that usually makes for good banter. Not really my genre, but I’m curious what Simon Callow does with a priest.

DeleteUn intreccio intrigante, tra misteri, paesaggi suggestivi e una coppia di investigatori dalle personalità opposte.
