ITV and ITVX have released a poster and a trailer for their new TV series THE BLAME
a six episode drama that dives into secrets, suspicion
and systemic
corruption - all under the surface of this seemingly quiet town. The series begins when the body of teenage figure skater Sophie Madsen is
discovered sending shock waves through the town of Wake- stead. As DI
Crane (played by Michelle Keegan) and DI Radley (Douglas Booth)
dig deeper, what starts as a tragic death, spirals into a tangled web
of lies, institutional cover-
ups, andmoral compromise. As the clock
ticks and trust fractures, Crane must navigate both a murder
investigation and the treacherous politics inside her

Another peaceful British town with a dead body, secrets and corrupt police. At this point, dear Dezmond, I am beginning to think that central London may be the safest place in Britain.
ReplyDeleteThe cast is strong, and six episodes seem perfect for this kind of crime drama. Ian Hart and Joe Armstrong are enough to make me curious, so I will keep an eye out for it.

Ha ha you might be onto something, there seem to be crime even in the most unsuspecting places in UK. I blame Agatha for everything! Returning the hug, sweaty again as it is again 40C here.
DeleteI think I would enjoy this one too. Though I still prefer the old British series. I am watching an old series starring Robinson Green as a solicitor..
