After the mysterious teaser back in March, a full, an even scarier, trailer has been released now alongside a poster for David Robert Mitchell's sf movie THE END OF OAK STREET starring Ewan McGregor and Anne Hathaway. It will be released August 14th in cinemas. After a mysterious cosmic
event rips Oak Street from suburbia and transports their neighborhood
to someplace unknown, a family soon discovers that their very survival
depends on them sticking together as they navigate their now
unrecognizable surroundings. Watch the trailer below and tell us what you think.
One of these days I'll step out onto my balcony and find a dinosaur strolling down the street. Considering some of the things that make it to the screen these days, I wouldn't rule it out. I have to admit, though, that the idea of waking up one morning and discovering that your neighbourhood is no longer where it should be is quite unsettling. Just thinking about it gives me a bit of vertigo. A big hug.
Well, I have the full collection, so whenever you need one, I can send it your way. The only problem is that they're all mixed together in my grandson's dinosaur box. After years of picking them up from the floor, I think I know the names of most of them by now. Although if you end up with a stegosaurus that seems to have borrowed a few parts from somewhere else, don't ask too many questions. And if one ever turns up in your garden, let's hope it's the vegetarian kind.
My cats will defend me, hopefully.... but not very optimistic about their guarding skills... I recently watched a video in which a cat is chasing a crocodile into the river LOL Cats really do not give a flying F about danger...
It's how I would die. "Here little dino buddy. Want a snack and be besties?" That is my toxic trait. Thinking every animal wants to be my friend. We have 2 fox babies and their mama somewhere in our yard. Our cameras pick them up at night. I haven't seen a fox in our yard the whole 20 years we've lived here. Allison thinks they've burrowed under our shed. It's going to be real freaking hard not interacting with them if I see them out and about.
I love foxes! I have had my hedgehog Jozo for 20 years, he is now all gray but still comes out every night for dindins, but I still cannot pet him because he might bite me.
I cannot establish whether he cannot leave our yard as it is fenced, or he just returns every night. I thought it was the first, but then Lazo appeared as well, so they must have some hole somewhere from which they come in. Jozo is so fun to watch when he eats. I really love him.

Not a fan of Anne Hathaway..and she plays as a family mother..well..and that trailer...a lot of nothing.

If it happens in my yard, hope it will be a stegosaurus, those are my fave, and not a T-Rex or a pterodactyl, I don't like those.

DeleteI am surprised Jozo is still alive. You talked about him when we first met. He must really love his life in your yard!
