First image of Genden Phuntsok in mountain climbing movie TENZING is out. Currently shooting in Nepal for Apple TV, it revolves around sherpa Tenzing Norgay (Phuntsok) and his summiting of Mount
Everest in 1953 alongside New Zealander Edmund Hillary (Tom Hiddleston). Willem Dafoe will paly English expedition leader Colonel John Hunt, while Caitriona Balfe will play Jill Henderson, a friend of Tenzing. Thinley Lhamo rounds out the cast as Dawa, Tenzing’s wife.

I tend to like these kinds of movies so I might check this one out.

DeleteIf I had Apple TV, I'd probably give this a try. It has a decent cast, at least.

DeleteDafoe doesn't bother me. He's got that weird look and seems a bit of a wild card, so he keeps me on my toes. I do agree about Caitriona though.
