JASON MOMOA EPIC SERIES TRAILER
Apple TV + has given us last month the first images of Jason Momoa in his epic new series CHIEF OF WAR and then a short teaser a few
weeks ago and now we have the first, action packed and really epic trailer, and also the first poster from the series that has the start date set for August 1st
when it will launch with first two episodes and then continue streaming weekly with new episodes.

NEW EPIC TV SERIES CHIEF OF WAR
depicts the unification and colonization of Hawai’i from an
indigenous point of view with Momoa playing warrior Ka’iana, as he
tries to unify the islands before Western colonization in the late 18th
century. Back then the four major
kingdoms of Hawaii were constantly in a
state of war. Legendary warrior Kaʻiana is pulled into battle when
Seers and visions name him as the one who
will fulfill an Ancient
Prophecy that will bring peace to all of Hawaii. You can check out the super epic trailer below and tell us what you t hink.


WHO ELSE IS IN THE CAST?
Te Ao o Hinepehinga portrays Kupuohi, the wife of Ka’iana (Momoa). Kaina Makua is Kamehameha, the prophesied king who is destined to unite
the warring kingdoms of the Hawaiian Islands. Moses Goods plays Moku, Chief Advisor to Kamehameha of Hawai’i and Ka’ahumanu’s (Luciane
Buchanan) father. Siua Ikale’o portrays Nahi,’ Ka’iana’s youngest brother. Brandon Finn plays Prince Kūpule, the son of King Kahekili (Temuera
Morrison). James Udom is Tony, a runaway slave who befriends Ka’iana and finds a new home in Hawaii. Mainei Kinimaka portrays
Heke, Kupuohi’s younger sister. Te Kohe Tuhaka plays Namake,’ one of Ka’iana’s younger brothers and an elite warrior.

ReplyDeleteI am liking the art production in the trailer, hope the whole series will be pretty like that.
DeleteDon't think we will watch this...I hope that Apple offers more than just this kind of series...have a very bad feeling that we won't stay with Apple for long...
