The New Boy will open this May in cinemas
Although this one premiered in Australia long time ago, it is getting limited cinematic release in United States May 23rd after visiting numerous festivals around the world written and directed by Warwick Thornton. Set in 1940s Australia THE NEW BOY is the story of a nine-year-old Aboriginal orphan boy (Aswan Reid) who arrives in the dead of night at a remote monastery run by a renegade nun (Cate Blanchett), where his presence disturbs the delicately-balanced world in this story of spiritual struggle and the cost of survival. She is great, isn't she? Hope we get to watch this soon. We finally decided to cancel Netflix, at least for now and try Apple TV...Just watched a movie I will see you in my dream led by Blythe Danner. Didn't know her she is the mother of Gwyneth Paltrow, whom I never like.
Sadly she is, and she also has a famous and rich papa, which is how she got into business, certainly not because of 'talent' LOL She will now probably push her kids onto us as well.
