Stateless, penniless and homeless, he wandered the streets of Paris by night and slept in the locker room of Roland Garros during the day, but never lost hope. The film will capture how through sheer determination and quick wit, Bahrami navigated the complexities of life as an illegal immigrant, while forming lasting bonds with tennis icons who recognized his talent, to fulfil his childhood dream of playing at Roland Garros.

Well, after My Lady Jane, here is another new series whose first unveiled images have put me right off wanting to watch it: aren't the first pictures from BBC new period set drama DOPE GIRLS one of the most depressive things you have seen this spring? From the boring cast to visual ugliness do they really think these would attract anyone to watch it? New six episode series will bring 1918 Soho to life, says BBC, although I see nothing lively in it. Even the woke description of the series leaves a nasty taste of rotten agenda in one's mouth.

Here is another new multicamera sitcom ordered for the new season. Netflix has ordered sixteen episodes of an untitled sitcom from Chuck Lorre which will see comedienne Leanne Morgan play  a woman whose life takes an unexpected turn when her husband of 33 years leaves her for another woman. Starting over when you’re a grandmother and in menopause isn’t exactly what she had in mind, but with the help of her family she will navigate this new chapter with grace, dignity and jello salad.

GETTING A BIG SCREEN TREATMENT

John Hillcoat will direct the adaptation

It was supposed to be adapted for the big screen back in 2011 but now three time Oscar nominee John Logan has been set to give BLOOD MERIDIAN historical novel by Cormac McCarthy a big screen treatment. John Hillcoat will direct the movie with the story following historical conflicts along the Texas-Mexico border in the 1850s. The novel follows the journey of the Kid, a 14-year-old from Tennessee, as he navigates the brutal and harrowing landscape of this new era. The novel has been a hit since it was published back in 1985 written by the Pulitzer Prize winning author. Hope the big screen movie adaptation will not be too bloody, though.

It is sort of a fantasy drama as in it Jane Gray is not beheaded and actually becomes the queen of England.

When a shady property developer is found dead, the four find themselves in the middle of their first live crime. Variety reports that 14 studios fought for the movie rights on this one.
