While Wonder Woman and her Amazon warriors are scoring hundreds of millions of dollars in cinemas around the world, another fierce warrior lady will step onto the big screens! As 'Deadline' reports, Millennium Films is looking to start shooting new SHEENA: QUEEN OF THE JUNGLE movie next year! She actually appeared a few years (1938) before Wonder Woman as the first comic book with a female protagonist in the title! The story of SHEENA: QUEEN OF THE JUNGLE follows an orphaned girl who grows up with wild animals and learns to survive fighting with makeshift weapons and later knives, spears and bows and arrows! She uses her skills to fight evil out of the jungle.

Out at the end of November it tells of the magical journey that led to the creation of Ebenezer Scrooge, Tiny Tim and other classic characters from "A Christmas Carol." The film shows how Charles Dickens mixed real life inspirations with his vivid imagination to conjure up unforgettable characters and a timeless tale, forever changing the holiday season into the celebration we know today.

  1. If the movie is a quarter as good as that trailer, I'll see it more than once. I love Christopher Plummer and watching the author, Dickens, come to life is a delight. Thanks DEZ. I'm looking forward to this one.
