SARAH GADON TO LEAD 'ALIAS GRACE' 19TH CENTURY MINI SERIES! JULES KNIGHT IS NEW LORD CHAMBERLAIN IN 'THE ROYALS' SEASON 3!

SARAH GADON TO LEAD
'ALIAS GRACE' PERIOD SET SERIES
Just some telly news for you this boring beginning of the week! That lovely lass from DRACULA UNTOLD, WORLD WITHOUT END and A ROYAL NIGHT OUT, Sarah Gadon is taking the lead role in Netflix' new true story mini series ALIAS GRACE a Margaret Atwood adaptation.
The six episode series follows Grace Marks (Sarah Gadon) a poor, young Irish immigrant and domestic servant in Upper Canada who, along with stable hand James McDermott, was convicted of the brutal murders of their employer and his housekeeper in 1843. James was hanged while Grace was sentenced to life imprisonment. Grace was one of the most enigmatic and notorious women of her time for her supposed role in the sensational double murder, but was eventually exonerated after 30 years in jail. Her conviction was controversial and sparked much debate about whether Grace was actually involved in the murder or merely an unwitting accessory.

JULES KNIGHT IS THE NEW
LORD CHAMBERLAIN IN 'THE ROYALS' SERIES SEASON 3
Meanwhile, fresh news come from E! as well, Only a week or two ago I've informed you that Max Brown has been cast as Prince Robert, who suddenly returns to court after deemed dead, in THE ROYALS and now they've added a new super handsome face to the third season cast! British TV star Jules Knight will be Spencer, the new Lord Chamberlain!  Described as smart, charismatic and cunning he is a professional willing to go the extra mile to make sure his job is a job well done. He has excellent taste and a knack for the details. Despite a bit of a rough start, his future in the palace is certain to be a bright one. We're sure Queen Helena will like him a lot! The third season will bring us the continuation to the debate on who should take over the throne, Queen Helena (Elizabeth Hurley), Prince Liam (William Moseley) or Princess Eleanor and Prince Robert's arrival, obviously won't ease the dilemma.

    3. I think they're getting a lady for PM... that Boris had the nerve to cook up the chaos but not to clean it up after himself... What a nasty prick he is... all of them, actually

  2. Robert needs a super long debriefing and checks before getting anywhere near the throne. Alias Grace sounds quite intriguing.

  6. That second pic is great. I've read many Atwood books, but not that one. Maybe I'll have to pick up Netflix again.

  8. I really liked Dracula Untold. Don't know if that was because of the actress or just the scripting...
