EVAN JONIGKEIT JOINS JASON MOMOA IN THE CAST
In today's TV news, recently announced Canadian History Channel scripted epic series FRONTIER has new cast members: Evan Jonigkeit has joined Jason Momoa in it! Following the chaotic and violent struggle to control wealth and power in the North American fur trade in the late 18th century, FRONTIER takes place in a world where business negotiations might be resolved with hatchet fights and where delicate relations between native tribes and Europeans can spark bloody conflicts.
Evan Jonigkeit plays Captain Chesterfield, the right hand to Alun Armstrong (Lord Benton) and the nemesis of Declan Harp (Jason Mamoa). He is a vicious man who lives by a code. From humble beginnings he has become politically motivated in this new and unpredictable world.

  1. Hell, we still settle disputes in Canada using hatchets.

I expected that today you would feature the just-released trailer for Our Tom's "I Saw the Light" biopic of Hank Williams. Tomorrow, then? LOL!

    1. In which part exactly, so that we can avoid it? :)

Haven't seen it, not very interested in country music, so not sure I will play it, maybe tomorrow, since it's Tomzie....

  5. A MONSTER CALLS has potential. The voice over in the trailer is a little over done, though. Yes I'm picky!!! lol.

    1. I think so too, Liam overdid it and it was even unpleasant to listen at some points.

  7. A Monster Calls sounds really good, from the written description. The teaser failed to impress, but we'll judge more once a longer one is presented.

  9. A Monster Calls is probably very imaginative. You can't tell much from the trailer, but I bet it's going to be a good story.

  10. I personally love Liam's voice in this. Guess my ears work on the bigger the better theory guys. The trailer put me in shock for over half an hour. It was the first thing I went to watch and after I just roamed around the house. October 2016 can't come fast enough and I am still pumped from the Civil War trailer I saw on Youtube last week.

Frontier sounds like an interesting historical piece. Yeah I am all about A Monster Calls. Read the book through Netgalley and so excited it is finally going to be a movie.

    1. It is very atmospheric, but hope you won't see monsters around your own house when the night falls :)
