STEPHEN KING'S 'THE MIST'
TO BECOME A TV SERIES
Fight against natural elements today, beginning with the announcement coming from The Weinstein Company who will turn Stephen King's famous novel THE MIST into TV series! The story, which was already turned into a rather scary movie back in 2007, is set in a seemingly innocuous mist that seeps into a small town but contains limitless havoc. From psychological terrors to otherworldly creatures, the mist causes the town residents’ darkest demons to appear forcing them to battle the supernatural event and, more importantly, each other.

'IN THE HEART OF THE SEA'
NEW TRAILER WITH CHRIS HEMSWORTH, BEN WHISHAW, CILLIAN MURPHY, BRENDAN GLEESON, TOM HOLLAND
A new trailer and a new poster have been released for December 11th sea adventure IN THE HEART OF THE SEA starring Chris Hemsworth, Cillian Murphy, Benjamin Walker, Ben Whishaw, Brendan Gleeson, Tom Holland! In the winter of 1820, the New England whaling ship Essex was assaulted by something no one could believe: a whale of mammoth size and will, and an almost human sense of vengeance. The movie reveals the encounter’s harrowing aftermath, as the ship’s surviving crew is pushed to their limits and forced to do the unthinkable to stay alive. Braving storms, starvation, panic and despair, the men will call into question their deepest beliefs, from the value of their lives to the morality of their trade, as their captain searches for direction on the open sea and his first mate still seeks to bring the great whale down.

  1. The Mist was already a pretty good movie. Please, just leave it alone. King rarely translates well to TV, and we don't need another Under The Dome piece of brain-numbing crap.

    1. I liked the movie too, especially the amazing music! Dead Can Dance did some stunning themes for it.

    2. I agree, I am not fan of King's tv, but the books I absolutely love.

The Heart of the Sea looks good. Then again, it could be pure crap but as long as Hemsworth stars, I'll watch ;)

    3. Watched UNDER THE DOME only the first season, it was incredibly slow and lacking in excitement

  2. Thats a lot of info for one post Dezzy. Very interesting. I also didn't like the Under the Dome series. Yep, huge fan of his books but not so much the big screen. Ah, Secret Window was well done. Young Messiah doesn't interest me at all; a shame since Sean Bean plays in it.

I hope you are well and safe Dezzy. Be careful.

I'm not into Mesiah either, but there are tons of ladies who will be happy to see Sean Bean in it :)

    1. I always cheer for the whale... and will never understand the bastards who're hunting them... there are places where whole towns will go to the beach to cut live whales

  6. "It's only a whale . . . ." Looking forward to this after having just finished reading Moby-Dick! Plus, Chris Hemsworth needs to be in a good movie other than Thor/Avengers. I hope it's a hit for him!

    1. yes, he seems to have a lot of stupid supporting roles instead of going big as he is

  7. The Heart of the Sea sounds heart wrenching. Plus, the Essex was the name of the US Naval ship my Dad served on for 4 years.
