SYFY ORDERS 'WYNONNA EARP'
 SUPERNATURAL WESTERN SHOW
Another new sf series to arrive to us in the future from SyFy is the small screen adaptation of Beau Smith's WYNONNA EARP graphic novel which has officially been greenlit by the channel into supernatural Western TV series!
She is a descendant of the famous lawman Wyatt Earp, and she's the top special agent for a special unit known as The Monster Squad. She battles such supernatural threats as Bobo Del Rey and his redneck, trailer-trash vampires that are pushing a new killer designer drug called "Hemo," and the Egyptian Mafia's mummy hitman, Raduk, Eater Of The Dead, who's out to do in all the other crime bosses. In her subsequent adventures she finished some outstanding Earp family business while dealing with Hillbilly Gremlins, and Zombie Mailmen alongside her fellow Marshalls.

FIRST PHOTOS WITH RICHARD ARMITAGE AND JON BERNTHAL
Speaking of Irish, 'The Hollywood Reporter' has released the first stills from Irish medieval movie PILGRIMAGE starring Jon Bernthal, Richard Armitage and Tom Holland. The film from Brendan Muldowney centres on a group of monks who undertake a pilgrimage to transport their monastery's holiest relic to Rome. When the true significance of the relic is revealed, the journey becomes much more treacherous, and the group's faith and loyalty to one another are tested. Bernthal plays a mute brother with a violent past. Armitage portrays a misanthropic knight with whom the monks are forced to share their journey. Holland plays the entry character of the story, a pious young novice. Stanley Weber also stars!

  5. Yay for medieval Irish stories. Pilgrimage sounds like my cuppa. And I did like The Secret of Kells. I want to go to Ireland one day and see the book in person. So beautiful.

Sorry I haven't been around much. I've been busy doing a revision for an agent, and life has been a little intense all around lately.

    2. I had an offer from a really new agent, but I turned it down to work with someone else. Not my agent yet, but maybe she will be if she likes the revision. :))

  6. Bongo Boobs!! Liking the plot of Pilgramage.

Was looking through your last couple posts. Love the posters, sometimes I can't believe those settings are computer generated. I'm hoping Shannara is as epic as advertised.

  8. Well I'll be dammed, it's our turn today!

Did you see Ondine with Colin Farrell a few years ago? 'Twas bout a selkie woman it was. This looks like a cute film and I'm glad they've gotten round to us at last.

Pilgrimage looks interesting as the characters are a diverse lot of people, sure to get on each others nerves. I'm wondering where in Ireland this was filmed.

    1. haven't seen it, but I know about it :) I'm not an overly big fan of Colin ever since he massacred Alexander the Great.... the reason why I can't stand Jared Leto too :)
Wasn't filmed in Eire but in Belgium, methinks, although I'm not entirely sure

    2. Moi knows you has banned Colin dahlink, but as he's one of my own I'll keep him around :0)

I tried to find out where it was filmed and all I saw was "filming in Ireland in 2015" Maybe they shot in multiple locations.

    3. I didn't ban him, dear, he appears around here from time to time, remember his WINTER'S TALE last year? :)
It just says it was filmed in Ireland and Belgium and that it was funded partly by Irish Film Board
