ASHTON KUTCHER & DANNY MASTERSON TO REUNITE IN 'THE RANCH' NETFLIX TV SITCOM! TRAILER FOR BERLIN FESTIVAL WINNER '45 YEARS' WITH CHARLOTTE RAMPLING, TOM COURTENAY

NETFLIX 'THE RANCH' SITCOM
TO REUNITE ASHTON KUTCHER WITH DANNY MASTERSON
Two of the popular comedians who are used to acting in television comedies are coming back to the small screens and they're doing it together: as 'Deadline' reports  Danny Masterson and Ashton Kutcher will star together in THE RANCH multi camera sitcom at Netflix! The two stars, who became famous starring together in THAT 70'S SHOW after which Kutcher had comedy gig in TWO AND A HALF MAN while Masterson was the star of MEN AT WORK sitcom, will play siblings in the new sitcom coming from the creators of TWO AND A HALF MEN Don Reo and Jim Patterson!
BROTHERS ON THE RANCH
The new sitcom, THE RANCH, which is to be shot in 20 episodes divided into two ten episode runs within the same year,  will have the story set on a Colorado ranch, with Ashton Kutcher’s character returning home after a brief semi-pro football career to run the family business with his brother, played by Danny Masterson.

  '45 YEARS' TRAILER
TRIUMPH OF EMOTIONS
The only trailer I have for you today is a wonderful one for Berlin Film Festival winner movie drama 45 YEARS which is out in Europe this August.  Written and directed by Andrew Haigh, it is based on a short story by David Constantine and follows Kate and Geoff Mercer (Charlotte Rampling and Tom Courtenay) in the week leading up to a party to celebrate their 45th anniversary. But when the body of Geoff’s first love, Katya, is found in a Swiss glacier where he lost her 50 years earlier, it brings up some long buried insecurities about the foundation of their relationship.

  1. I'm not sure what I think about "the ranch" but 45 Years looks amazing!

  3. I don't think I've seen anything with Masterson after that's 70's show

    1. I tried watching him in MEN AT WORK, but other than him being awfully cute in it, the sitcom itself was difficult to watch longer than two episodes....

  4. I've never cared for Two and a Half Men...but it's from the same people who do The Big Bang Theory, which I love. Someone told me once that many of the writers on sitcoms we "hate" also wrote for sitcoms we once loved, like Friends. The difference is whether or not we bond with the main characters. I'm sure Two and a Half Men was hilarious but I don't like Charlie Sheen or that other guy...and the kid got on my nerves from the start, so it just wasn't going to work for me!

    1. Agreed, I myself tried, but never understood or could get into TWO AND A HALF MEN, BIG BANG THEORY nor HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER but I loved so many other sitcoms. I tend to prefer the warmer ones and are usually appalled by the rude or offensive ones or the poorly written comedies

  5. Netflix sure is trying to crank out as many of their own original series as possible, huh? I never liked 2 1/2 Men, but do love Big Bang Theory. Ashton is kind of hit or miss with me. I sometimes like him, sometimes find him a bit annoying. We'll wait for the trailer to see if it looks promising or not.

    1. I have the same opinion of Ashton... sometimes I wanna smack his head and sometimes he is too hot to resist like in that stupid film he had with Heigl...

    2. Normally, he isn't my cup of tea in the looks department, but I remember him in a movie a few years back that he was mighty yummy looking. I think he was playing a Navy Seal or something like that. He was all muscle and hawt! Too bad he didn't keep that body!

    3. he was just born with that body type which responds well to exercise... he doesn't even need to try much.... we hate him for that...

  6. 45 years makes me want to know more. Lots of emotions in the trailer already. I don't like Ashton Kutcher that much. I guess I will wait for the Ranch trailer.

    1. I'm sure he's a great guy, but I don't think he has much talent in addition to his looks. IHe's one of those comic actors who are trying to be funny (it's mechanical), it doesn't come from the inside. Bland.
