PATRICK WILSON & MATTHEW FOX FOR 'BONE TOMAHAWK' WESTERN! SARAH GADON JOINS JAMIE DORNAN, AARON PAUL IN '9TH LIFE OF LOUIS DRAX'! ZACHARY LEVI FOR 'TUNED' MUSICAL TV COMEDY

'BONE TOMAHAWK' WESTERN
PATRICK WILSON AND MATTHEW FOX AGAINST CANNIBALS
Now here's a duo of cowboys that you would love to see in a good western: always brilliant Patrick Wilson and LOST actor Matthew Fox will star in independent action western BONE TOMAHAWK and the cast will also include Kurt Russell and Richard Jenkins. According to 'Variety' the movie will revolve around  four men who launch a rescue mission in order to save a group of captives from a tribe of cannibals who live on the edge of civilization. Patrick Wilson will portray a thoughtful cowboy whose life is interrupted by a tragedy, which hinders his rise to foreman in his cattle outfit. Matthew Fox will appear as an unscrupulous gentleman with sinister plans!

ZACHARY LEVI TO STAR IN
'TUNED' MUSICAL SITCOM
I told you yesterday that Eva Longoria is wanted by both ABC and NBC for the lead roles in their potential sitcoms, but she is also producing a third one together with Zachary Levi. He might also take the lead role in musical comedy series TUNED at NBC as an ambitious New Yorker whose life is upended by sudden musical hallucinations. While these vivid hallucinations threaten to completely derail his enviable life, he’ll eventually realize that they might lead him on a more fulfilling journey. Zachary Levi has proved his singing qualities in TANGLED!

'THE 9TH LIFE OF LOUIS DRAX'
SARAH GADON JOINS JAMIE DORNAN AND AARON PAUL
One of the upcoming movies I've mentioned a few times recently, THE 9TH LIFE OF LOUIS DRAX has just added gorgeous Sarah Gadon in the female lead. Jamie Dornan will play a psychologist who begins studying a young boy after a near-fatal fall. The doctor gets drawn into a complex mystery that blurs the lines between fantasy and reality. Aaron Paul is going to play the father of the little boy, while Sarah Gadon will be his wife and the boy's mother! You will watch Sarah playing Luke Evans' wife in glorious epic DRACULA UNTOLD next month! You mostly remember her as the royal beauty with golden locks in WORLD WITHOUT END historical mini series!

  1. Bone Tomahawk sounds interesting. I wouldn't want to be messing with a tribe of cannibals, though!

  2. Zachary Levi is the man, in a manly way of course... I wish all the amounts of success that his talents may lead him. Maybe he might return to re-image the end of NBC's Chuck where they left us fans bitter. Yes, I know it won't happen... but I can dream....

    1. I haven't watched CHUCK, but I always thought he was a true delight, and I think people would watch his new sitcom especially with him singing

  3. Hmm, it seems like cannibals are very popular now (kinda like vampires). I blame Thomas Harris for this.

  4. I like Richard Jenkins. Haven't seen him in anything for awhile.

  5. Hello Dezzy! Your blog is festive and so pretty-I love the colorful leaves~
Wow, a Foxy Wilson-I married one of those-tee,hee.

Wilson is a dashing gentlemen, a cowboy?! I sure he will bring it! Zachery rocks-we need to get our Chuck wagon on!
Oops he will be too busy singing to a frequency of Cats or maybe the Phantom or maybe a Phantom Opera Hound. Anyway, we know he can wail and howl!

I hope you are doing well!

    1. We have to mark the beginning of Autumn with the leaves. Pumpkins are already ready for Halloween.

  6. The 9th Life of Louis Drax sounds like a good one. Jamie Dornan has been making a claim on the dark protagonist lately.

    2. Cool beaners, Dezzy.

Tim brought home the pumpkins and they are on the porch. I want to make pumpkin puree out of one of them. Roasted with a bit of the others, and roasted pumpkin seeds for bakes.

So much fun. None of it to waste.

  9. All three of these movies/sitcoms have caught my interest. Cannibals, hallucinatory musical comedies and hard to die little boys? You made quite an eclectic reading selection today Dezmond.

  10. Action western? I do like Matthew Fox, but westerns aren't my thing.

  11. Bone Tomahawk makes my skin crawl talking about those cannibals, but I'll probably still watch it anyway!

    1. sadly, it seems, that American movies tend to have such violent elements more and more and more...

    2. You are so right. I think they tend to try to hit the shock factor for the most part. Do you remember when scary movies were actually scary, like Halloween? There wasn't much blood or gore, but they kept you on the edge of your seat!

    3. with music videos turning into porn and movies and show turning into torture porn... I'm really scared with the future of the young generations who are growing up on such dangerous entertainment... Not to mention all the video games in which the purpose is to kill people.... how is that even legal?

  12. Bone Tomahawk looks interesting. The cannibals sound dreadful though.

  13. Haven't seen a good western in awhile. Hopefully Bone Tomahawk will be good, but I'm still trying to see cowboys and cannibals in the same movie.
