EPIC NEW 'HERCULES' TRAILER WITH DWAYNE JOHNSON, JOSEPH FIENNES, RUFUS SEWELL, IAN MCSHANE! MADS MIKKELSEN IN EPIC 'AGE OF UPRISING' TRAILER! DEAD COME BACK IN 'THE RETURNED' SHOW WITH MARK PELLEGRINO

NEW 'HERCULES' TRAILER
DWAYNE JOHNSON IN MIND BLOWING MYTHICAL ACTION
A stunning brand new trailer and poster for epic adventure movie HERCULES has been released! Unleashing his strength on July 25th the ancient hero will be played by Dwayne Johnson with Ian McShane, Rufus Sewell, Joseph Fiennes, Rebecca Ferguson, Peter Mullan and John Hurt also in the cast. Haunted by a sin from his past, Hercules has become a mercenary. Along with five faithful companions, he travels ancient Greece selling his services for gold and using his legendary reputation to intimidate enemies. But when the benevolent ruler of Thrace and his daughter seek Hercules' help to defeat a savage and terrifying warlord, HERCULES finds that in order for good to triumph and justice to prevail... he must again become the hero he once was... he must embrace his own myth... he must be Hercules.

'THE RETURNED' TV SHOW
MARK PELLEGRINO, KEVIN ALEJANDRO, SOPHIE LOWE STAR
In TV news, A&E is casting roles for their ten episode English language version of French show THE RETURNED in which the story  focuses on a small town that is turned upside down when several local people who have been long presumed dead suddenly reappear, bringing with them both positive and detrimental consequences. 'Deadline' writes that Kevin Alejandro (TRUE BLOOD) will play the town’s authoritative but accessible Sheriff. Mark Pellegrino (LOST) will also star with Sophie Lowe from ONCE UPON A TIME IN WONDERLAND playing his daughter who comes back after she had died in a car accident with her teen twin sister. Mat Vairo (REVOLUTION) will be one of the returned, a musician who comes back 10 years after his death.

AGE OF UPRISING
 MADS MIKKELSEN GOES EPIC
Speaking of epic, another one of those historical action movies is currently showing in US cinemas. AGE OF UPRISING: THE LEGEND OF MICHAEL KOHLHAAS is adaptation of Heinrich von Kleist's 16th century novella which is considered one of the first examples of modern literature. Mads Mikkelsen plays the lead role of the 16th century horse dealer by the name of Michael Kohlhaas who leads a happy and prosperous family life. When a lord treats him unjustly, this pious, upstanding man raises an army and puts the country to fire and sword in order to have his rights restored.

  2. Michael fights for his rights all right! Don't mess with the horse dealer. I will be ready to see Hercules in August, definitely worthy of the wait Dwayne. How will this Returned do against ABC's version? We have to wait and see.

  8. I do love Dwayne Johnson as Hercules! He is going to be great in that role!

The Returned may be good, if they don't make it too cheesy. I'll try a few episodes of that one to see how well I like it.
