HOT NEW EPIC SHOWS STARS: TOM HOPPER & HANNAH NEW FROM 'BLACK SAILS', LAURA HADDOCK FROM 'DA VINCI'S DEMONS' AND LUKE PASQUALINO FROM 'THE MUSKETEERS'!

TOM HOPPER
THE RIGHT- EOUS HUNKY PIRATE
New TV season has brought us many new historical shows and with them some really nice new stars whom we shall spotlight today! Starting with always delightful Tom Hopper whom we first met a few years ago when he was playing the valian knight of the round table Sir Parcival in BBC's MERLIN and who is now entertaining us every weekend in BLACK SAILS pirate show. He is playing just, trustworthy and everybody's favourite Billy Bones, boatswain of the Walrus pirate ship whose belief in the righteousness of the pirate cause is continually tested as he’s drawn deeper and deeper into Captain Flint’s plans for the future. This Autumn we shall watch the stunningly handsome Brit in epic movie NORTHMEN A VIKING SAGA in which he is again using swords and shields and sporting his bulging muscles and his 2 metres tall body.

HANNAH NEW
RULING THE PIRATE ISLAND
One of the pretty new faces that have definitely spiced up and warmed up this winter is certainly gorgeous ice beauty Hannah New from Starz new pirate show BLACK SAILS. She immediately drew attention of the male audience both with her beauty and with her steamy lesbian sex scenes with Jessica Parker Kennedy and the straight ones with hunky Zach McGowan. In the show she plays a sexy, but smart, strong, business minded but also emotional Eleanor Guthrie, daughter of a rich trader, who runs the pirate island and controls all their nasty buccaneer business. British actress, Hannah has majored in English and Spanish at college and she's been both a model and an actress in Spain. This March we shall watch her in Angelina Jolie's fantasy epic MALEFICENT in which she will play Leila, the beautiful mother of young Princess Aurora!

LUKE PASQUALINO
SEDUCTIVE MUSKETEER
One of the freshest of the historical shows, THE MUSKETEERS at BBC is already scoring success with quick action, outstanding music, intricate costumes and great actors playing the king's guards. Among them, sensual and gorgeous Luke Pasqualino is probably the biggest heartthrob playing  the youngest and the most naive of them D'Artagnan. Naive doesn't go for his lady skills, since girls definitely love to chase him around the streets of Paris. Before he put on feathers and frills and leather musketeer jackets, you've seen this British actor in BATTLESTAR GALACTICA BLOOD AND CHROME, in BORGIAS and in SKINS.  He also played in SNOWPIERCER next to Chris Evans. Both his parents are Italian and hence his Italian surname. He dated his fellow SKINS actress Kaya Scodelario.

LAURA HADDOCK
FLORENTINE BEAUTY
Mindblowingly and outrageously stunning Laura Haddock has enchanted us in Starz epic series DA VINCI'S DEMONS playing the seductive and mysterious Lucrezia Donati, a sensual beauty who seduces both Leonardo da Vinci and Lorenzo Medici while at the same time acting as Vatican's spy who has to chose between love and saving her imprisoned father. When the demons return to torment Da Vinci in the second season this March, Laura Haddock will be getting into new adventures. For the role in the show she even dyed her golden locks brown. Laura is also known as the finance of equally stunning young star Sam Claflin (HUNGER GAMES, PILLARS OF THE EARTH). You've also watched her in British DANCING ON THE EDGE and also in UPSTAIRS DOWNSTARIS series and later this year she will play Meredith Quill in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, the mother of Chris Pratt's Peter Quill and the lover of Prince Jason of the Spartoi Empire!

    1. I love the amazing music in it and the intricate costumes and most of the cast is amazing (minus the talentless actor who plays Richeleu totally inexpressively like a total amateur) but they do need to work more on the stories. But a great one especially compared to god-awful ATLANTIS

    1. ATLANTIS was painfully bad. MUSKETEERS are good, but not brilliant so far....

  5. I have been wanting to catch Black Sails, but missed it in the beginning. Tried finding them to record and can only find episodes 5 and 6. I may have to sit this season out, then wait to catch up on Netflix.

I can't say I'm impressed so far. It's been rather dull, monotonous and uneventful... really not what you would expect from a pirate show. They haven't even sailed at all so far. I don't know where they are going with this kind of plot

    1. these pirates are rather hunky but also extremely dirty :) It's a boring show so far so I'm looking forward to see what NBC will do with their CROSSBONES show with John Malkovich
