  RESURRECTION SF SHOW
WHAT IF YOUR DEAD ONES CAME BACK UNANNOUNCED?
Over at ABC they have released the first trailer for their new Autumn show RESURRECTION. The people of Arcadia, Missouri are forever changed when their deceased loved ones suddenly start to return. An 8-year-old American boy (Landon Gimenez) wakes up alone in a rice paddy in a rural Chinese province with no idea how he got there. Details start to emerge when the boy, who calls himself Jacob, recalls that his hometown is Arcadia, and an Immigration agent, Martin Bellamy (Omar Epps), takes him there. The home he claims as his own is occupied by an elderly couple, Harold (Kurtwood Smith) and Lucille Garland (Frances Fisher), who lost their son Jacob more than 30 years ago. While they look different, young Jacob recognizes them as his parents. Those closest to the family try to unravel this impossible mystery, including Sheriff Fred Garland (Matt Craven), whose wife Barbara drowned 30 years ago while trying to save Jacob. But this boy who claims to be the deceased Jacob knows secrets about his own death that no one else knows — secrets that Fred’s daughter, Gail (Devin Kelly), will begin to investigate and discover to be true!

I will probably spotlight the royal wedding in Sweden later this Monday :) to bring a bit of glitz into the boring ol' beginning of the week.

  7. Considering almost everyone I know didn't like King's Under the Dome, I'm surprised they decided to make a series out of it. The premise sounds a lot like "Haven" though, nad that's very interesting. Nonetheless, I love SF and Horror, so I'm looking forward to watching both new series. :-)

  8. I loved The Dome and I think it could make a great series - if they do it right, which they tend not to when it comes to SK. As for Resurrection, that trailer made me wish for satellite tv again *sigh*

    1. let us elaborate on that theory, doctor professor Jeremy

    2. cake is always fresh if kept under the dome... and if you should die and get brought back... then it's the best of worlds.

    3. extremely wise theory, professor Retro, this could be applied in the mass production of city domes and we already have a market for them with some Western tyrants.

  13. Under the Dome...can't wait. Although must finish reading the book first. Did you know, Stephen King didn't know anything about the Simpson Movie when he was writing UTD. He had no idea that the movie had the same idea until after the book was published and people started bombarding him with questions regarding it's similarity. Oops...lol.

    1. I watched the Simpson's movie ( I remember it was terrible) but I don't remember any dome, even though I see you people mention it :) Says a lot about how much the film was impressive LOL
Hope the show will be good!

  15. I've always found there's this impenetrable barrier between Selma and me. Maybe I should watch the show to find a solution.

Dead loved ones coming back? So it's like with the dead cat but only different?

  16. No the Mexican one.... I don't like women who smoke. I'd rather stick my tongue in an ash tray.
