"PUSS IN BOOTS" GOES LADY GAGA IN A NEW CLIP! DARREN ARONOFSKY'S "NOAH" GRAPHIC NOVEL COVER! "THE PUNISHER" GOES TO TV! BRADLEY COOPER IN "THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E."

Earlier this summer I told you that Darren Aronofsky will shoot a huge futuristic dark epic based on Biblical character NOAH, and that a comic book with the story will be published first.  You
can now check out the cover of the graphic novel which is out in Europe. It is set in a world without hope, a world with no rain and no crops, dominated by warlords and their barbarian hordes. In this cruel world, Noah was a good man. Seasoned fighter, mage and healer but he only wanted peace for him and his family. Yet every night, Noah was beset by visions of an endless flood, symbolizing the destruction of all life. Gradually, he began to understand the message sent him by the Creator. He had decided to punish the men and kill them until the last. But he gave Noah a last chance to preserve life on Earth...

HOLLYWOOD SPY HEADLINES
According to "Deadline" famous Marvel hero THE PUNISHER is ready to hit TV screens after two films.  ABC has ordered a pilot which will be an hour-long cop procedural
with a Marvel signature and a new take on one of the comic book giant's iconic characters, Frank Castle, a rising star detective with the New York Police Department who moonlights as the vigilante Punisher, seeking justice for those the system has failed. As you know, HULK should also hit TV screens in the form of a TV show. After George Clooney, Alexander Skarsgard, Ryan Gosling and Joseph Gordon Levitt, a new name in the race for the lead role in THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E. is Bradley Cooper.  The film follows agents of United Network Command for Law Enforcement (U.N.C.L.E.) who fight the forces of Technological Hierarchy for the Removal of Undesirables and the Subjugation of Humanity (T.H.R.U.S.H.).

Puss In Boots is living on the edge of ... the law in the new custom
film clip with Lady Gaga's song "Americano"! Check it out, it's the part of promotional campaign for PUSS IN BOOTS which hits cinemas this weekend. With the voices from Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek, this delightful animated film is set in the time before Puss met Shrek,  and it follows our suave and furry feline hero as he goes on a swashbuckling ride, and teams with mastermind Humpty Dumpty and the street-savvy Kitty to steal the famed Goose that lays the Golden Eggs.

  3. Love this Puss N Boots clip!! I cannot wait to see the movie. The Gaga song is terrific, very theatrical.

    Whoever they cast in Man from U.N.C.L.E. , it should be a great flick. I loved the reruns of the old tv show with David McCallum and Robert Vaughn. Sophisticated and witty.

  6. Can't wait for Puss, the more I see the more I actually think it will be good. Technically it would be after 3 films if you count the Dolph Punisher movie way back when..haha...and the tv shows sound meh, it's like they are going to dumb him down or basically make him a Dexter rip off.

  19. I can't wait to take the kids to see Puss in Boots.

    Also, the cover for NOAH looks spectacular!!

    I don't have an email for you, so I'll tell you here: I had those unexpected days off last week, and I have finally watched the first season of THE WALKING DEAD. Have not yet watched the two that have aired for season two, but they had them both on last night and I recorded them for watching later. So far, with the exception of stealing the hospital sequence from 28 DAYS LATER in the pilot episode, the show's been really good. I have to admit that it's kind of funny to see the streets I take to work almost every day being seen in the show.

  20. The only thing I might be interested in is the Punisher movie. The Shrek franchise has been beaten to death and I'm not too fond of Biblical references in media.

  21. @Fabo
    Banderas has the most amazing voice as Puss :) He was born for that role

    @Josh
    bet the kids and the dad will have fun!
    My email address is, by the way, under the avatar pic up in the left corner :)
    Told ya you would enjoy the show, although I did like the first two episodes of the first season best, and the rest not so much. I'm watching the second episode of the second season tonight ;)

    @DWei
    we don't like religion in reality or in movies either, but this one will be more of an fantasy epic

  23. I really hope that PIB lives up to expectations because I just love how hip they're making it. I'm not sure about Noah, but I'll see when the trailer comes out.

  24. @Leigh
    aren't they the perfect combo? :)

    @Clarissa

  25. I love me some Puss in Boots! Though it sounds more like a Porno than a kids movie!

  26. that's what I think as well whenever I hear the title :)

  27. I love the Punisher character so much, yet on the big screen it never seemed to please fans, myself included.

    Maybe a tv series will do better though very doubtful

  28. who knows, but I have a feeling the project is doomed ever before the beginning :(

  29. Sorry Dezzy, but I think that photo of Bradley makes him look like a plastic doll (a la Ken's Barbie). I guess I'm in the minority amongst women in that I don't find him attractive at all.

  30. that's actually a pic from one of the posters for one of his films.
