WONDERFUL TRAILER FOR "THE BEST EXOTIC MARIGOLD HOTEL" WITH JUDI DENCH & MAGGIE SMITH! ISLA FISHER IN "NOW YOU SEE ME"? STEPHEN MOYER IN "THE BARRENS"! "BEAUTY & BEAST" SHOW ON CW?

According to "Variety" always lovely Isla Fisher (CONFESSIONS OF A SHOPAHOLIC) could join the cast of heist movie NOW YOU
SEE ME
which already includes Amanda Seyfried, Mark Ruffalo, Morgan Freeman and Jesse Eisenberg. As you remember Mark Ruffalo will play the leader of a team of FBI agents who are investigating the Four Horsemen, a squad of the world's greatest illusionists who pull off a series of daring bank heists during their performances, then shower the profits on their audience. Eisenberg is the leader of the illusionists, Freeman is an ex-magician, while Isla Fisher could play a master technician who builds contraptions to aid in the illusion of the heists.
SHORT HOLLYWOOD HEADLINES
Charming Stephen Moyer from TRUE BLOOD will star in THE BARRENS as a man who takes his family on a camping trip
to the more than 1 million acres of dense forest known as the New Jersey Pine Barrens, where he becomes convinced they're being stalked by the legendary winged monster that looks like a deformed hybrid of several different animals. According to "MovieWeb" CW is planning a remake of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST TV show which, back in the 80's, followed the story of a beast-man who lived beneath New York City and, through a psychic bond,  developed a relationship with a lovely attorney in the city.

It's here, it's here - the first trailer for super charming THE BEST EXOTIC MARIGOLD HOTEL, which premieres next March and has a stunning cast including Judi Dench, Maggie Smith, Bil
Nighy, Tom Wilkinson
and young Dev Patel. Directed by John Madden the film follows a group of British retirees who decide to "outsource" their retirement to less expensive and seemingly exotic India. Enticed by advertisements for the newly restored Marigold Hotel and bolstered with visions of a life of leisure, they arrive to find the palace a shell of its former self. Though the new environment is less luxurious than imagined, they are forever transformed by their shared experiences, discovering that life and love can begin again when you let go of the past.

  1. LOVE the trailer, Dezz. What a great cast for The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.

I recently watched Downton Abbey, and Maggie Smith was just hilarious in that series, like she always is.

It really does look delightful! And the cast is wonderful.
I've never watched Scooby Doo so I don't know, but I think Isla did play in it :) She is also known for being married to that utter prick Sacha Baron Coen, Ally G or Borat or whatever his moronic name is :(

it is true, unfortunately, Hollywood likes to depict other countries in a wrong way. They also use their news channels to offer wrong pictures of third world countries to their viewers :(

When it comes to this particular film, I think this one will be good, judging from the trailer those people discover the relaxed life thanks to Indian people who help them find some soul in this alienated world of ours.

  13. I wish the British film industry would start making movies for the young folk and not always target the rich oldies. With THE BEST EXOTIC MARIGOLD HOTEL, they are gonna do monster business because it hits both the rich old crownd and the rich British Asian market. It's win-win.

ah, guess it means I'm a rich oldie then :) I feel so posh right now :) MARIGOLD HOTEL is the type of film I love most, even though I'm in my early 30's and not rich at all :)

glad you enjoyed it as much as I did. I've been anxiously waiting for the trailer for some time now, and I'm glad it didn't disappoint. Too bad it's not in the Oscar season and it probably won't shoot for the awards :(
