ANNE HATHAWAY MIGHT BE LOIS LANE IN THE NEW "SUPERMAN". "TANGLED" BREAKS THANKSGIVING OPENING RECORDS! ANNA FARIS MIGHT GO HUNTING GHOSTS IN "GHOSTBUSTERS III"

HOLLYWOOD SPY informed you earlier this week that Matthew Goode is Zack Snyder's number one choice for the role of Clark Kent in his reboot of SUPERMAN according to rumors,and here's a rumor on the female lead: Anne Hathaway might get the role of Lois Lane according to "SlashFilm". Another piece of news that everybody is talking about is that Snyder and Warner Bross. want to make Superman's costume totally CGI like the one Ryan Reynolds will wear in GREEN LANTERN.

Dan Akroyd has apparently finished the script for GHOSTBUSTERS III which will see the original Ghostbusters  team handing over the reins to younger replacements.  Ivan Reitman is supposed to direct the sci-fi comedy,
and according to first rumors Anna Faris has been offered the role of one of the young new Ghostbusters, but that might and might not happen since her representative said to "Entertainment Weekly" that the rumor isn't true. We shall see, we shall see.

TANGLED, which is currently in cinemas as Disney's 50th animated film, has managed to earn $11.5 million on its first day of release yesterday, which is the highest Thanksgiving holiday opening day gross ever according to "MovieWeb". Congrats to the record breaker, I'm sure many of you have taken your families to see it this week.

And you can check out the music video from the upcoming adventure THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: THE VOYAGE OF DAWN TREADER. Young Joe McElderry (the winner of THE X FACTOR) sings the main theme to the film "Someone Wake Me Up" and the video features some stunning images from the movie which premieres this December.

  4. GB3??? Really?? Siiiigh.
    I was a bit iffy on the Dawn Trader (love the ship) but after seeing the snippets from the film it looks more amazing than I had expected. Joe however sings like a girl ;)

  7. Yep, Elliot, GHOSTBUSTERS were really popular when we were kids, so they have to try really hard to live up to the popularity of the original films.

  10. And Tangled deserves every bit of that money! Sad Harry Potter actually made more on the same day, though.

  11. I can see Anne Hathaway as Lois Lane.

  12. I would love to see Anna Faris in Ghostbusters 3, and Anna Hathaway as Lois Lane!! They can audition at my place, fully undressed and I'll invite a couple of boys over and we can make a party of it.

  13. @Alex
    yep, I've also never understood the obsession with HARRY PLOPPER movies.

    @Lisa
    I will tell her that you can :P

    @Myra
    ah, yes, I remember you've said you liked miss Faris :)

  14. I saw Tangled last night! It was adorable and very funny, definitely worth seeing (and then seeing again!).

  15. Anne Hathaway as Lois Lane, I can see that happen but she probably looks more like Lana Lang.

  16. I'm excited for the possibility of Matthew as Supes but Anne as Lois? Heh, I'm not sure. I guess she can probably do the job, I just prefer someone like Rachel McAdams in that role.

    That Narnia song is just ok, too boy band-ish for my taste, but I did enjoy seeing Ben Barnes in the vid :D

    I'm glad you enjoyed TANGLED, so many people seem to adore it :)

    @Jaccsy
    I don't know who Lana Lang is (great name for sure) but I will trust you, since you are my superhero/asianinvasion expert ;)

    @Flixy
    I'm with you, Flixy, I'm not so excited about Anne either. She is cute, but they could find someone better. Snyder might even offer the role to Emily Browning who is the star of his upcoming SUCKER PUNCH flick. I'd like Lyn Collins in the role myself :)
    And I posted NARNIA song exactly for that reason - some people might enjoy the scenes from the film, and some of my ladies might enjoy Barnes :P

  18. Lyn Collins is the one in Wolverine, right? She's stunning indeed. Not sure how good she is as an actor though as I've only seen her in one movie.

  19. Lana Lang is Superman's first love/romantic interest when they were in Smallville. In the Silver Age, she regularly appeared in series featuring the character’s teenaged self, Superboy. She also often appeared as an adult in Superman series, vying with current love interest Lois Lane for his attention. I reckon you didn't know the man of steel really well or never watched the Smallville series Dezmy :)

    Flixy, you must've seen her lovely role in THE MERCHANT OF VENICE, the lovely film from 2004 with amazing performances from her, Joseph Fiennes and Jeremy Irons and a horrible and really bad role from All Pacino. Lyn will also play Dejah Thoris in JOHN CARTER OF MARS :) That's my most anticipated film from the future.

    @Jaccsy
    ah, Jaccsy, I did try to watch SNOREWILL but I kept falling asleep, especially after they kicked out my dear Michael Rosenbaum from the show :)

  21. I've only ever seen Faris play the dumb blonde, so my guess is she'll be annoying as a Ghostbuster, hehe. Anne Hathaway makes for a great Lois Lane, she's got my vote for definite.

  22. he he I'm guessing that will be her lethal weapon - annoying ghosts to death :)
