STUNNING NEW TEASER FOR RUSSIAN 3D FANTASY "RORRIM BO AND THE MAGIC GOBLET"

HOLLYWOOD SPY's official emissary in Singapore, Jaccsy, has found a full teaser trailer for the upcoming Russian 3D fantasy movie "Rorrim Bo and the Magic Goblet", which we've mentioned some time ago, but the new trailer offers a look into some stunning new scenes and some cool new creatures. The movie starts in ancient past when the inhabitants of a fantasy world have chased away an evil witch Vergilda to our world and imprisoned her in the Magic Goblet, where she languished for 500 years until the workers in a Pioneer camp found her while preparing for the New Year's Eve and accidentally let her out. Weakened by centuries of bondage, the Witch moved into the body of the unsuspecting senior Pioneer, and now she needs to feed on someone else's fears to rebuild her force and return to the magical country. Off course, the camp is full with children who like telling horror stories and scaring each other, not knowing that they are helping the Witch in her horrible plans. The only one who can save them is Rorrim Bo the son of the hero who had put the Witch into the Goblet many years ago. The only problem is that Rorrim Bo is not so brave as his father, and is afraid of everything in the world.

  1. The CGIs are very video game-like, but other than that it looks cool, especially considering the fact that the movie is Russian ;)

  2. I like the CGI because it was meant for children :)

  3. Hope to see it here in the USA eventually - with subtitles. Dubbing just ruins a film for me, because it loses the natural inflections of the actors' speech.

  4. Oh, I can imagine what horror dubbing is. Here in Serbia we have subtitles for foreign movies and programmes, but I've seen dubbing in Hungary and Germany and it's truly horrible.

  5. This Vergilda reminds me of Uma Thurman's role as Medusa in Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief movie.
About the CGI, it's ok then if it was meant for childer, I just hope that they will buy tickets for this movie. :-P

  6. I think that Vergilda is about zillion times better than Medusa Thurman. And why are you mentioning PERCY JACKSON, aren't you supposed to forget that movie and the scary experiences you've undergone because of that film? :PPPPPP

Just like Serbians, Russians also flock to see their domestic movies, especially blockbusters like this one, so I wouldn't worry about RORRIM BO's cinema success :)
Beside Serbia and France, Russia is one of the few countries in the world in which domestic movies have bigger success than the American movies.
