SYLVAIN WHITE GOING MEDIEVAL IN "PENDRAGON"

What's this? A Camelot mania? Only yesterday we've informed you how both Guy Ritchie and Bryan Singer are planning "Excalibur" movies, and now "MovieWeb" reports that Sylvain White is also going medieval. He is in negotiations to direct "Pendragon".
The script was written by Lee Shipman and Brian McGreevy, and it centers on medieval characters such as Arthur, Lancelot and Guinevere as they meet at Camelot. As you know, the name Pendragon means the "head dragon" or "chief dragon" (a figurative title referring to status as a leader) and it was the name of several traditional Kings of the Britons, legendary Arthur Pendragon being the most famous among them.
Although he didn't make anything interesting or important so far, Sylvain's name was/is attached to many big projects: "Ronin", "Castlevania", "The Loosers" ....

  1. Like-themed movies seem to travel in batches.

  2. like medieval, or movies close to that time period, so this makes my day.
What I would really love to watch is a movie surrounding the plague.

  3. Yes, I must admit I'm not complaining about too much historical and medieval movies coming our way in the future :)
