The new teaser trailer for the new adaptation of "Dorian Gray" has just been released. You can watch it over at my YouTube channel:
Although the film seems rather striking visually, I'm not quite convinced that young Ben Barnes has enough charisma to carry such a huge cinematic role.

I've already written that HBO is preparing a TV show based on George Martin's fantasy saga "Games of Thrones", but now they've got one of the main stars. Sean Bean will play lord Eddard, and the shooting starts this October.
The saga centers on the battle among seven kingdoms and on the two families which fight for the Iron Throne that will give the winning family the power to rule and survive during a 40-year long winter. Lord Eddard is a man of honour and justice. He is the right hand of king Robert (Mark Addy). Kit Harrington will play Jon Snow, Elddard's bastard son, Brendan Gleeson will play Joffrey, king Robert's son, and Peter Dinklage is also in the cast.

A young human crashes onto an unknown planet of Sarakash a place in total chaos where he will find a dictatorial society on the verge of war. As you can see these guys have taken off their clothes so eager and ready to jump into the mossy suit of The Green Lantern. According to Hollywood Reporter, Justin Timberlake, Ryan Reynolds and Bradley Cooper are the final three candidates for the role of the famous super hero. After a very long search, it seems that the director Martin Campbell has narrowed his choice down to these three Hollywood studs. Apparently all three of them were under the holding deal with Warner Bros. and it has just expired which means that they can seek other roles. That's why Campbell and his producers have to be quick and chose one of them as soon as possible.
I'm voting for Timberlake or Reynolds as the second choice. But we will see very soon who's the winner and who'll wear the green suit and carry the green lantern.
Here is the new pic from "Prince of Persia: the Sands of Time", adventurous epic coming to cinemas next year. It is the first image of Jake Gyllenhaal, playing prince Dastan, and Gemma Arterton, playing princess Tamina, together. The last three pictures show concept art of the scenes that will appear in the movie in summer 2010. Judging from those last pics we can expect spectacular visuals and breathtaking sets full of exotic details and costumes.
In the movie, prince Dastan joins rival princess Tamina in order to prevent an evil wizard from unleashing the huge sandstorm which could destroy the world. In order to save the world Dastan uses Sands of Time, tricked by an evil Vizier, but it turns out that by doing that he has put his people in danger of becoming ferocious demons. So, Dastan and Tamina have to return the sands of time into its hourglass by using the Dagger of Time which enables him to control the flow of time while trying to correct his own mistake.

Hey, guys, the super cool news is that our HOLLYWOOD SPY is currently number ten on Google's search list in competition with more than 87,900 other references. I'm not totally sure how we climbed up that ladder, and I'm not sure how you generally appear high or low on Google's search list, but it seems you've been clicking enough to earn us the high spot. Yeepee and hooray :)))

It seems that beside Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Brian Blessed as Odin and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Keneth Branagh's THOR has got the first lady in the cast: rumors say that Jessica Biel has been offered to portray the main female role, the love interest of the blonde God, Amora the Enchantress.
The best news for me personally is that the costume designer in THOR will be my absolutely favourite Alexandra Byrne who already worked with Branagh in his amazing adaptation of HAMLET for which she did stunning costumes. Byrne's my favourite costume designer ever since she did the work in Shekhar Kapur's ELIZABETH and ELIZABETH THE GOLDEN AGE. For making probably the best costumes in the cinematic history when she dressed Cate Blanchett in ELIZABETH THE GOLDEN AGE where she created the best wardrobe that any movie has ever seen, Alexandra won an Oscar last year. Can't wait to see her work in THOR.
